Brazilian Narratives Now!
On April 24, Woo! Studios—in partnership with SDSU’s Center for Brazilian Studies—hosted Brazilian Narratives Now!, an evening of photography, cinema, and discussion featuring Indigenous artists and activists from Brazil: Daniele Guajajara, Shirley Djukumã Krenak, Silvinha Xucuru, and Braulina Aurora Baniwa.
The Rolodex Project
On February 8, Curator-in-residence, Subcultura Curation, hosted the first sign-up event for their Rolodex Project, a new and innovative initiative aimed at spotlighting San Diego’s vibrant artist community by connecting creators with curators, collectors, and fans. This platform serves as an inclusive, easily accessible online directory where artists of all disciplines can showcase their work, gain visibility, and discover new opportunities.
